The annual “Zoo to Boo” Family Fun Day will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Morgan City Barnyard Zoo. The event, part of St. Mary Parish Red Ribbon Week activities, will follow the annual Parade of Schools that will begin at Tampico’s parking lot and travel down Victor II Boulevard to the Barnyard Zoo. The Zoo to Boo will feature game and activity booths, sponsored by parish 4-H clubs, concessions, Halloween bags, a Halloween costume contest and a cake compliments of Cannata’s Family Market. A $1 donation is requested at the gate entrance, and each game will cost approximately 25 cents. Red Ribbon Week committee members, above, made preparations and decorated the site.
