Parc Sur La Teche visitors were quick to act Tuesday to help rescue 57-year-old Morris Thibeaux who apparently collapsed and fell into the bayou due to an unspecified medical condition, according to reports from the Franklin Fire Department. From left are Tyler Dantin who jumped in and pulled the unconscious Thibeaux to the bank; his friend, Galen Gaudet, who got others’ attention by yelling for help; and Justin Hunt who was passing by and called 911.
