The Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement recently held training classes aboard the Mr. Charlie in Morgan City for future inspectors of drilling rigs and production platforms. Approximately 25 inspectors hailing from across the Gulf Coast region took part in the class. Among them was Kim Criddle of New Orleans, center. At the time of the class she had been employed by BSEE for five weeks and was the only female inspector on staff. Other students hailed from as far as Laredo, Texas, and as close as Houma.
