Navigation of local streets by vehicles, like this one northbound on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Morgan City, was complicated by the estimated 2.8 inches to 3.9 inches of rain the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reported at its gauges at the Bayou Boeuf and Berwick locks, respectively.
