The Amelia Recreation Center was one of the areas impacted by Wednesday's storms. Above is one of the fields, where Central Catholic plays both its regular and summer league baseball seasons, that suffered damage. A utility pole that split during Wednesday's storm and crashed with the attached lights lays near first base. Behind it is the dugout where a tree fell. Amelia Recreation Department Manager Mike Beadle said Thursday that Central Catholic's summer league team, Halimar Shipyard, likely would not play its summer baseball games at the facility this year.
