THREE LOCAL HIGH schools participated in high school football scrimmages Thursday afternoon. Central Catholic hosted Ellender Memorial, while Morgan City traveled to White Castle where it faced White Castle and Donaldsonville and Patterson traveled to Plaquemine where it faced Plaquemine and West Feliciana. Berwick will conclude the area football scrimmages today when it travels to Jeanerette for a 5:30 p.m. matchup. All four local squads will participate in the Morgan City Jamboree next week.
