The state bowling semifinals have been set as the Morgan City Tigers, the top-ranked squad from the western bi-regional, will face Broadmoor, the No. 3 seed from the state’s eastern bi-regional, April 12 in Lafayette. Broadmoor advanced to the state's Final Four after defeating No. 6 seed Denham Springs and No. 2 seed Central of Baton Rouge. In the bottom of the eastern bi-regional bracket, No. 1 seed Archbishop Rummel, the defending state champion who eliminated Morgan City in the semifinals a year ago, advanced to Lafayette. Rummel will face Barbe, the No. 2 seed out of the western bi-regional, also on April 12 at Acadiana Lanes.
