THE MORGAN CITY BIDDY BASKETBALL 12-year-old All-Stars finished third in the National Tournament, held March 23-28 in Covington. Morgan City went undefeated in pool play with wins against Vermilion (42-25) and Centerville (72-24). In bracket play, the squad beat Slidell, 36-24, and Opelousas, 37-30, before falling to Finland, 39-33. In a rematch with Slidell, Morgan City fell 36-35. Team members included, front row from left, Kerwin Francois Jr., Alisha Singleton, Larenz Clark, Makye Richard, Cody Roberie and Kesean Francois.
