Mainieri to serve as ESPN analyst for NCAA tournament

BATON ROUGE – LSU baseball coach Paul Mainieri will serve as studio analyst on Saturday and Sunday for the ESPNU coverage of the NCAA Super Regionals.

Mainieri, who will be joined by ESPNU anchor Lowell Galindo, will appear on the College Baseball Live set in Charlotte, N.C. beginning at Noon CT on Saturday and Sunday.

Mainieri’s segments, which will at times also air on ESPN and ESPN2, can be seen from Noon until the conclusion of the final Super Regional game each evening.

A minimum of 45 hours of Super Regional coverage will be provided by ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU from Friday through Monday. Consult local listings for specific games shown in each area of the country. As many as 15 national broadcast windows could appear on the networks.
