The Louisiana Softball Coaches Association recently released its Class 3A All-State team and the Lady Panthers had two players land on the team after their run to the semifinals.
Sophomore Abigail Ohlin made the team at infield along with fellow District 6-3A’s Marie Hoag from Catholic High of New Iberia.
Senior Jade Russo made the team as a designated player after a strong season with several clutch hits in the playoffs.
CHNI had the largest contingent of players on the team with four players and head coach Jeri Beck was named Coach of the Year.
