June is National Safety Month and the Franklin Health Care Center Safety Committee, above, kicked it off with new ideas to promote safety in the workplace. Their mantra is “Safety Is The Only Policy and the Main Ingredient in Every Task” and centers around themes of preventing slips, trips and falls, on the road, off the cell phone, and preventing overexertion. The highlight of the month is a special presentation by Karen Cody, Preferred Care corporate representative to conduct trainings for supervisors and staff, on the topic “Accident Prevention.”
