St. Mary Parish Sheriff David Naquin reported the following arrests from the past weekend:

Dwight Blackburn, 32, of 526 Prairie Road North, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 9:58 a.m. on an Iberia Parish warrant charging him with failure to appear on charges of seatbelt violation and driving under suspension. He was released on a $750 bond.

Jillian Morvant, 32, of 3522 La. 182, No. 41, Berwick, was arrested Friday at 10:22 a.m. on warrants charging her with issuing worthless checks, failure to appear on charges of expired inspection sticker and an Iberia Parish warrant on a charge of debtor rule. She was released on a $773 bond.

Lacey B. Johnson, 21, of 213 Mercury Road, Bayou Vista, and Thomas J. Anderson, 26, of 7257 La. 182, No. 16, Morgan City, were arrested Friday at 11:30 a.m. on charges of child desertion. No bond was set on Anderson and Johnson was held on a $7,000 bond.

Reginald Martin, 34, of 149 Pickett St., Charenton, was arrested Saturday at 5:43 a.m. on warrants charging him with failure to appear on charges of criminal neglect of family. He turned himself in and was held on a $19,627 bond.

Kendrick Levine, 23, of 1037 Ciro St., Morgan City, and Jennifer Elmore, 29, of 1025½ Cayce St., Franklin, were arrested Saturday at 9:22 p.m. on charges of disturbing the peace intoxicated. They were released on bonds of $250 each.

Steve A. Berryhill, 40, of 1468 Fairmont Avenue, Bayou Vista, was arrested Saturday at 10:39 p.m. on charges of hit and run, reckless operation and simple criminal damage to property. He was released on a $3,000 bond.

Jonette G. Lange, 32, of 3247 First St., Berwick, was arrested Sunday at 2:38 p.m. on Morgan City warrants charging her with failure to appear on charges of careless operation and failure to report an accident. No bond was set.

Bennie A. Charles, 26, and Tiffany Lafont, 27, both of 120 Natalie Lane, Patterson, were arrested Sunday at 3:32 p.m. Charles was charged with domestic battery and held with no bond set. Lafont was charged with failure to appear on a charge of speeding and held on a $328 bond.

Multi-jurisdictional Drug Task Force agents reported the arrest of Gregory Harris, 29, of 406½ Morrison St., Patterson, and Johnny Gray, 41, of 5980 N. Bayou Black, Gibson, Friday at 1:20 p.m. Harris was charged with second-offense possession of marijuana, obstruction of justice and failure to signal a turn. Gray was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, open alcohol container and introduction of contraband into a jail. No bonds were set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Kenslo D. Charles, 30, of Blakesley Street, Franklin, Saturday at 1:36 a.m. on charges of driving under suspension and license plate light violation. He was released on a $1,500 bond.

Sebastian Oryan Jones, 20, of Gonsoulin Street, Jeanerette, was arrested Saturday at 6:54 p.m. by the Third Ward Court Marshal on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on traffic charges. He was released on a $318 bond.

Erica Monteil Brown, 25, of Opelousas, was arrested Sunday at 2:43 a.m. on charges of no license plate light and driving under suspension. She was released on a $385 bond.

Jeremy Dwayne Wilson, 32, of Second Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 5:40 a.m. on charges of second-offense possession of marijuana and possession of cocaine. No bond was set.
