St. Mary Parish Sheriff David Naquin reported the following arrests this morning.

Jerry Clay, 45, of 120 Prairie Road, Verdunville, was arrested Wednesday at 11:41 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on charges of remaining after being forbidden, no driver’s license and open alcohol container. He was released on $1,000 bond.

Mia D. Dewey, 22, of 521 Mike Drive, Patterson, was arrested Wednesday at 12:03 p.m. on a warrant charging her with issuing worthless checks. She was released on a summons.

Gregory J. Mitchell, 52, of 408 Martin Luther King Boulevard, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 4:12 p.m. on a charge of forgery. He was released on $2,500 bond.

Multijurisdictional Drug Task Force members reported the arrest of Paul E. Brummet, 57, of Chauvin, Wednesday at 4:48 p.m. on a charge of possession of marijuana. He was released on a summons.

Chitimacha Police Chief Blaise Smith reported the arrest of Christopher K. Welch, 43, of Charenton, Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. on charges of improper backing, driving under suspension and DWI. No bond was set.

Anjelique Morvant, 41, of Kaplan, was arrested Wednesday at 12 p.m. on a charge of criminal trespasses. She was released on a summons.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Darrius L. Gordon, 23, of Samuel Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 11:34 a.m. on a warrant charging him with simple battery. He was released on $296 bond.

Emma Dell Johnson, 55, of Jolivette Street, Baldwin, was arrested Wednesday at 1:49 p.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear on a charge of issuing worthless checks. She was released on $2,500 bond.

Marcus D. Parker, 19, of James Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 7:05 p.m. on warrants charging him with two counts of indecent behavior with juveniles and 12 counts of pornography involving juveniles. No bond was set.

Jonathan Edwin Thibodeaux, 30, of Pine Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 8:01 p.m. on a warrant charging him with simple battery. He was held on $500 bond.

Engwan Burrell Joseph, 32, of Scottie Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 10:35 p.m. on a Jefferson Parish warrant charging her with two counts of failure to appear. She was also charged on a Westwego warrant for failure to appear. She was held awaiting transfer.
