A juvenile male, age 16, was arrested Thursday at 10:33 a.m. on charges of disturbing the peace and battery on a police officer after an incident reported at the West St. Mary Civic Center. He was released to guardians pending juvenile court.
Brigitte D. Jackson, 19, of 1441 Mitchell St., Lot 11, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 11:09 a.m. on warrants charging Jackson with failure to appear on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. No bond was set.
Eugene L. Green, 31, of 255 Oak St., Garden City, was arrested Thursday at 11:21 a.m. on two counts of aggravated assault, three counts of resisting an officer, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of alcohol in a vehicle. Green allegedly pointed a gun at other drivers on U.S. 90. He was held on a $6,750 bond.
Shannon L. Clavelle Sr., 38, of 210 Pickett Lane, Charenton, was arrested Thursday at 1:01 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on a charge of criminal neglect of family. He was held on a $20,105 bond.
Cindy H. Johnson, 39, of 119 Boley Lane, Charenton, was arrested Thursday at 10:47 p.m. on a charge of vagrancy. She was released on a summons.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Paul M. Porter, 30, of Lake Charles, Thursday at 9:57 p.m. on charges of DWI, speeding and expired driver’s license. No bond was set.
Paul Edward Burgess, 49, of Sanders Street, Franklin, was arrested today at 1:10 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on traffic charges. He was held on a $2,500 bond.
Sydney Thomas Couvillier, 44, of West Third Street, Franklin, was arrested today at 2:07 a.m. on a warrant charging him with simple battery. He was held on a $500 bond.
Shelly Ann Colar, 33, of Milling Street, Franklin, was arrested today at 4:47 a.m. on warrants charging her with forgery and failure to appear on a charge of issuing worthless checks. No bond was set.
