Miss Franklin pageant this Saturday

THE MISS FRANKLIN SCHOLARSHIP Pageant will be held Saturday, July 23. Miss Franklin Krista Lynn Becnel, above, will relinquish her crown at 6 p.m. at the Franklin Senior High School Auditorium. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 10. The Little Miss and Master Pageant and Royal Children’s court will be presented at 6 p.m. as well. Contestants will be modeling Summer Sports Wear and Sunday’s Best. Young ladies in the Teen and Miss Franklin Pageant will compete in Personal Interview, Summer Sportswear and Evening Gown. The St. Mary Lions Club-Franklin, La. and the City of Franklin sponsor the program. Susan Thibodeaux is the Pageant Director.
