Several local officials including Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire, above, participated in the “28th Annual National Night Out” crime and drug prevention event hosted by the Franklin Pecot Park Neighborhood Committee at the City Recreation Center on Tuesday. Franklin residents enjoyed games, music and refreshments while learning about the importance of police-community partnerships and citizen involvement in the fight against crime in our community from local law enforcement agencies and emergency responders.
