Woodard wins National American Miss La. title

BRYLEE KATE WOODARD, daughter of Misty and Wade Woodard of Patterson, earned the title of 2011 National American Miss Louisiana at a pageant held July 2. She will attend the national pageant at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., Thanksgiving week. She will have the opportunity to win a share of more than $50,000 in cash and prizes. The pageant program is based on inner beauty, poise and presentation with emphasis on gaining self-confidence, learning new skills, and setting and achieving personal goals. B. Woodard is also active in dancing, acting, modeling, playing T-ball and giving back to her community. Her pageant sponsors are Lil Miss Bowtique, family and friends.
