Alleged pot farmer busted in Basile

BASILE – The drought apparently wasn’t hurting an alleged pot farmer’s crop.

Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office Detectives arrested Connie M. Fuselier for alleged possession of Schedule II narcotics, 10 counts possession of Schedule III narcotics, possession of Schedule IV narcotics and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Fuselier was booked into the Evangeline Parish Jail on a $10,000 bond.

On Aug. 24 detectives responded to a marijuana cultivation complaint in a wooded area, off of Stagg Avenue, in Basile.

They recovered the suspected plants and equipment associated with the cultivation of marijuana. Detectives are tracking down leads at this time with the assistance of Basile Police Department.

The Gazette is so professional !! they are the only newspaper I know of that prints 2 stories in 1, that have nothing to do with each other, the pot plants and the bust of Fusilier are 2 totally different incidents, Haha, nice work Gazette !
