St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the past 24-hour reporting period:

Savoie M. Howard, 20, of 1211 Samuel St., Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 7:42 a.m. on a warrant charging him with issuing worthless checks. He was issued a summons to appear in court.

Kane Wilson, 27, and Kyle Wilson, 22, both of 210 North Vivian St., Morgan City, were arrested Thursday at 12:37 p.m. on charges of theft and criminal trespassing. They were released on $1,500 bonds.

Tabatha Gros, 34, of 109 Carter Lane, Berwick, was arrested Thursday at 5:26 p.m. on warrants charging her with issuing worthless checks. She was released on a summons.

Chad Bertrand, 26, of 716 Kem St., Patterson, was arrested Thursday at 6:34 p.m. on a charge of off road vehicle on roadway. He was released on a summons.

A juvenile male, age 14, of Baldwin, was arrested Thursday at 6:50 p.m. on a warrant charging him with simple battery. He was released to guardians pending juvenile court.

A juvenile male, age 14, of Charenton, was arrested Thursday at 7:43 p.m. on a warrant charging him with disturbing the peace by fighting. He was released to a guardian pending juvenile court.

Carl Keiffer, 40, of 907 Duke St., Morgan City, was arrested today at 2:37 a.m. on charges of no safety helmet, reckless operation of a vehicle and flight from an officer. He was held on a $2,250 bond.

Multi-jurisdictional Drug Task Force members reported the arrest of Felix Fryou III, 53, of Kentwood, Thursday at 1:50 p.m. on charges of no turn signal and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a $3,750 bond.

Mitizi Landry, 27, of 523 Joey St., Patterson, was arrested Thursday at 2:56 p.m. on a warrant charging Landry with possession of Fentanyl. No bond was set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of James Johnson, 62, of Robertson Street, Franklin, Thursday at 4:53 p.m. on charges of third-offense DWI, driving under suspension and resisting by refusing to be booked. No bond was set.
