Janet Robinson has been announced as the Artists Guild Unlimited’s 48th Annual Art Show & Sale chairman. Assisting her as vice chairman is Olivia Herzog.

Robinson, vice president of AGU, has been a member of the organization for 46 years. She began her instruction in 1958, under Mildred Hardy McKnight of Idlewild. She has studied under many state and nationally known artists and professors including Jim Richard, Joe Bova, Michael Crespo, Edgar Whitney, Judi Betts, Kathy Stone, George Shook, Henry Hensche, Dan Thompson and the late Elmore Morgan.

Robinson’s work is well represented in private and corporate collections and has been the recipient of numerous awards. She now teaches art to adults, teens and children at the AGU Everett Street Gallery where her students have made impressive showings winning at local and state shows.
