St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the past 24-hour reporting period:

A juvenile male, age 14, of Baldwin, was arrested Monday at 6:49 p.m. on a charge of simple battery. He was released to a guardian pending juvenile court.

Eric Gaskins, 31, of 129½ Friendship Alley, Amelia, was arrested today at 12:44 a.m. on warrants charging him with simple battery, telephone harassment, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and illegal use of a weapon. No bond was set.

Multi-jurisdictional Drug Task Force members reported the arrest of Kashif Wallace, no age given, of 143 Village Lane, Amelia, Monday at 11:45 a.m. on a charge of possession of marijuana. He was released on a summons.

Raymond Miller III, 21, and Christina Breaux, 18, both of 1510 Federal Avenue, Morgan City, were arrested Monday at 12:53 p.m. Miller was charged on warrants charging him with possession of synthetic marijuana, obstruction of justice, resisting an officer, abuse of toxic vapors and disturbing the peace. No bond was set. Breaux was charged on warrants charging her with battery on an officer, interfering with an investigation and resisting an officer. She was released on a $11,000 bond.

Celeste Day, 36, of 106 Southeast Blvd., No 6, Bayou Vista, was arrested Monday at 2:58 p.m. on a windshield violation and charges of expired inspection sticker and possession of marijuana. She was released on a summons.

Nathan Corley, 32, of 1431 La. 182, Bayou Vista, was arrested Monday at 4:30 p.m. on warrants charging him with possession of Roxicodone and Xanax. No bond was set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Gary Jones, 44, of Ibert Street, Franklin, Monday at 9:30 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on traffic charges. He was held on a $138 bond.

Erin Michael Demarco, 23, of Maple Street, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 7:53 p.m. on a charge of simple battery. He was released on a $500 bond.

Baldwin Police Chief Gerald Minor reported the arrest of Dea’Vnta Burden, 18, of Bollard St., Baldwin, Friday on charges of possession of marijuana, open container, no driver’s license, no insurance, switched license plate and failure to obey signs and signals. No bond was set.
