The Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival soldiered on through the wet and windy conditions brought onshore by Tropical Storm Lee Friday. There were some event cancellations, but many vendors came and stayed through the adverse conditions to today. The weather did bring down some trees and limbs, such as the one shown on Birchfield Lane in Berwick, and caused minor street flooding. The 76th Festival’s Street Parade rolls at 3 p.m. today, and closes out with fireworks over Berwick Bay tonight at 9.
