Work is continuing on the new library for Central Catholic High School and Holy Cross Elementary School, both in Morgan City, that is being funded as part of the Vision 2012 joint effort between Holy Cross Catholic Church, HCES and CCHS. The library will include a media center and technology labs. It, along with the construction of six classrooms are the first of three priorities the Vision 2012 campaign has targeted. In the second and third phases, respectively, a gymnasium and spiritual life center will be built. More than $9.6 million has been raised in the campaign. Roger McChargue in Gray planned, designed and now is contracting the project.
