Monday afternoon, the Amelia Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a residential fire located at 112 Bailey’s Lane. The fire started while two men were using a cutting torch to parcel what remained of a previously burned mobile home. There were no injuries reported, and the fire was contained and extinguished with no damage to any other homes in the area.
