St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrest from the past 24-hour reporting period:

Michael Dupre, 44, of 142 Two Sister’s Court, Bayou Vista, was arrested Friday at 12:52 p.m. on a warrant charging him with telephone harassment. He turned himself in and was released on a $500 bond.

Karla A Paul, 42, of 107 Saturn Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested Friday at 1:23 p.m. on a warrant charging her with issuing worthless checks. She turned herself in and was released on a summons.

Jacob Picard, 22, of 275 Easy St., Franklin, was arrested Friday at 7:59 p.m. on charges of speeding, license plate light violation, turn signal violation, no child restraints, resisting an officer, driving under suspension and simple obstruction of a highway. He was held on a $4,000 bond.

Elton Jones Jr., 20, of 214 Arizona St., Morgan City, was arrested Friday at 11:21 p.m. on charges of aggravated second-degree battery, domestic battery and warrants from Morgan City police charging him with child desertion, criminal damage to property, domestic battery and probation violation. No bond was set.

Sharon Roderick, 46, of 104 Thelma St., Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 9:24 a.m. on charges of theft and forgery. No bond was set.

Curtis S. McNemar Jr., 47, of Westwego, was arrested Saturday at 4:07 p.m. on a charge of possession of alcoholic beverage in a vehicle. He was released on a summons.

Arturo Garcia, 30, of 111 Lincoln St., Patterson, was arrested Saturday at 4:39 p.m. on charges of no driver’s license, no insurance and an equipment violation. He was released on a summons.

Leo Green Jr., 46, of 168 Verdun Lane, Verdunville, was arrested Saturday at 9:57 p.m. on charges of reckless operation, two counts of turn signal violation, stop sign violation, flight from an officer and disturbing the peace intoxicated. He was released on a $4,500 bond.

Jose Torres, 35, of 270 Shaw Drive, Apt. 15, Morgan City, was arrested Sunday at 4:43 p.m. on charges of DWI, no driver’s license and failure to signal lane change. No bond was set.

La Grant Z. Harrison, 41, of Kennesaw, Georgia, was arrested Sunday at 6:24 p.m. on charges of speeding and driving under suspension. He was released on a summons.

Multi-jurisdictional Drug Task Force members reported the arrest of Channing Riley, 29, of 523 Orange St., No. 120, Morgan City, Friday at 3:47 p.m. on warrants charging him with distribution of cocaine and failure to appear for revocation hearings. No bond was set.

Anthony Bias, 22, of 518 Orange St., Morgan City, was arrested Friday at 5 p.m. on warrants charging him with distribution of cocaine. No bond was set.

Chitimacha Police Chief Blaise Smith reported the arrest of Rita Variet, 52, of Patterson, Friday at 11:24 p.m. on a charge of theft. She was released on a summons.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Christina Gail Fontenot, 31, of St. Joseph Lane, Franklin, Friday at 9:27 p.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear on traffic charges. She was held on a $5,000 bond.

Rachelle Dupre, 28, of Main Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 10:14 p.m. on a warrant charging her with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. She was released on a $1,000 bond.

Tevin Tedman Brown, 20, of Pecan Acres Drive, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 11:59 p.m. on a charge of second-offense possession of marijuana. No bond was set.

Vincent Dion Coleman, 19, of Weber Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 11:59 p.m. on a charge of third-offense possession of marijuana. No bond was set.

Calvin Joseph, 21, of Martin Luther King Boulevard, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 11:59 p.m. on a charge of possession of marijuana. He was released on a $2,000 bond.

Vontre Paul, 18, of Weber Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 11:59 p.m. on a charge of possession of marijuana. He was held on a $2,000 bond.

Lakeisha Lashawn Kinchen, 26, of Weber Street, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 8:28 p.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear. She was released on a $314 bond.

Destinee’ Kona Simms, 17, of Seventh Street, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 11:20 p.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace by fighting and released on a $250 bond.
