Franklin Junior High prevails over Berwick

The Franklin Junior High School football team improved to 2 and 0 on the season, defeating Berwick 40-12.

David Kinchen scored three touchdowns. Charles Webb found the endzone twice while Charles Burrell scored on kickoff return. Latandae Tabor caught a two-point conversion and Charles Burrell ran a two-point conversion.

The Rattlers were led up front by center Paul Johnlouis, tackles Leo Gradley and Roy Jackson; guards Christen Bell and Semaja Washington; tightend Ladante Tabor, slotback David Kinchen, wingback Charles Burrell, fullback Charles Webb, split end Terrance Robertson and quarterback Bernard David.

On defense the Rattlers were led up front by defensive ends Ervin Collins and Ladantae Tabor, De’Vontrius Perro, tackles Leo Gradley and Roy Jackson, linebackers, Bernard Davis and Christen Bell, strong safeties Charles Webb and Charles Burrell, cornerbacks David Kinchen, Byron Vincent, free safety Tra’Antray James and Terrance Robertson.
