Chez Hope Family Violence Crisis Center held its Domestic Violence Awareness Month Unity Breakfast today at the Forest Restaurant in Franklin. State Rep. Sam Jones, first photo, was presented the 2011 Chez Hope Peacemaker Award for his work as a Louisiana legislator in support of the organization. Though no representative was present, Domino’s Pizza was selected for the 2011 Service Award for its support of Chez Hope as well. With Jones are Executive Director Sami Riley and Program Coordinator Cherise Picard. Second photo, parish mayors and other public officials joined in the breakfast. Chez Hope is sponsoring an open house today until 2 p.m. at 801 Main St., Franklin.
