Geraldine Theriot, 86, a resident of Morgan City, was born July 18, 1925, and passed away on October 18, 2011 in Morgan City.
Visitation will be held on October 20, 2011, (Thursday) at Thibodaux Funeral Home (Thibodaux) from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will resume at Thibodaux Funeral Home on Friday from 8 a.m. until funeral time at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery.
She was the owner of Lady Be Lovely beauty salons in both Morgan City and Berwick. She was also a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 4222 in Morgan City.
She loved bowling, cooking, and being with family and friends.
She is survived by her two sons, Jerald and Raoul Sheets; one step-son, Paul Theriot; three grandsons, Jerald Jr., Clarence Jr., and Scott Sheets; two great-grandsons, Daniel and Andrew Sheets; and one great-granddaughter, Kayla Sheets.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raoul and Laura Clement; her sister, Joyce Gros; her husbands, Elmo M. Sheets, and Ovile (Pete) Theriot; two sons, Elmo J. and Clarence T. Sheets; one granddaughter, Litza Freeman; and one great-grandson, Joshua Sheets.
