Private memorial services will be held at a later date for Mrs. AnnaLee Durocher Charpentier, 88, a native of Charenton and longtime resident of Baldwin, who passed away at 5:34 p.m., on Friday, October 21, 2011 at Franklin Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include her four children, Paulette B. Ortego of Baldwin; Deborah B. Rutherford of New Iberia; Carol C. James of Baldwin; and Leroy P. Charpentier of Baldwin; one brother, Edmond Joseph Durocher of Franklin; one sister, Ruby Dupre of Groves, Texas; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Charpentier; her parents, Adolph Durocher Sr. and Bridget Hebert Durocher; two brothers, Adolph (Poncho) Durocher Jr. and Robert Durocher; and two sisters, Agnes D. Curtis and Hilda D. Edmiaston.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made for Masses to be said or to Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, P.O. Box 308, Baldwin, La. 70514.
