Clarence was a veteran of the United States Army. The East St. Mary Funeral Squad will perform at the graveside.
Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 28 at the Siracusaville Recreation Center in Morgan City from 9 a.m. until funeral at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Clarence leaves to cherish his memory nine daughters, Virginia Francois of Houma, Rebecca Gary, Joann Thomas, Agnes Escort, Dolores Turner, Lorraine Wallace, Marjorie Washington and Jeannie Clavo, all of Morgan City, and Leona Cash of Houston, Texas; one brother, James Francois of Morgan City; four sisters, Verna Mae Francois and Era Mae McClue, both of Houston, Carrie Mae Otis and Mary Francois, both of Morgan City; and a host of grandchildren; and great grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Mr. Francois was preceded in death by is wife, Doloris Turner-Francois; his mother, Agnes Bradford; his father, Sidney Francois Sr.; a son, Clarence Francois Jr.; five brothers, Alex, Alfred, Sidney, Sam and Willie Francis; five sisters, Marie Morrison, Addie Miller, June Rose Ray, Idell Francois and Sandra Francois.
