Lawrence M. Dalton Jr., a lifetime resident of Morgan City and resident of Patterson Health Care, passed away Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011, in Morgan City at the age of 68.
He is survived by his sons, Lawrence “Matt” Dalton III and his wife Kathryn of Morgan City, Chad Dalton and his wife Shaula of Northport, Ala., and Brent Dalton of Berwick; and his daughter, Mary Dalton Williams and her husband Lonney of Gray. Lawrence is also survived by his mother, Mildred Cefalu and his stepfather, Anthony Cefalu of Morgan City; his son-in-law, Craig Ordoyne of Thibodaux; 10 grandchildren, Damian Pyfrom, Ashley and April Ordoyne, Malia, Victoria and Madison Williams, Hannah Dalton, and Christian, Brennon and Kaylee Dalton; four great-grandchildren; and his close friend, Edward Jenkins.
Lawrence is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Matthew Dalton Sr.; his daughter, Cindy Dalton Ordoyne; and his brother, Michael Dalton.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Funeral services will held at 11 a.m. in the Hargrave Funeral Home Chapel. Lawrence’s wishes were to be cremated followed by private family services.
