Franklin Mayor Raymond Harris Jr. presented Techeland Arts Council Chair Judith Allain with a check representing a Decentralized Arts Fund grant for TAC’s production “No Hitchin’.” The original theatre performance is based on the history and stories of the area and premiered with a sold out run at the Teche Theater in October. “No Hitchin’” will be presented again March 16-18 2012. Decentralized Arts Funding is supported by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism in cooperation with the Louisiana States Arts Council as administered by the Acadiana Center for the Arts.
