An Adopt-A-School program was held Thursday at West St. Mary High School. The Sisters of Hope adopted the school. Sisters of Hope is a newly formed women’s group from Greater New Hope Baptist Church who saw a need in the community to help children and are ready to work and mentor them. The Adopt-A-School project is a partnership between the St. Mary Parish School Board and the St. Mary Parish Chamber of Commerce.
