The Cypress Corvette Club, a Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival event, will hold its fifth annual car show on Dec. 3 under the E.J. “Lionel” Grizzaffi U.S. 90 bridge in Morgan City.

The first 100 entries will get a ditty bag and a picture plaque.

Food, drinks and T-shirts, also will be sold during the event, while a 50/50 raffle will be held, door prizes will be given and the top 75 participants will receive awards.

Early entries will cost $30 and will be accepted through Nov. 25. Registration also will be available on the day of the show and will cost $35.

All proceeds will benefit Relay for Life and other charitable organizations.

The event, rescheduled because of inclement weather from Tropical Storm Lee during the Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival weekend, will be held in conjunction with Santa’s Block Party.

For more information, call Scharlette or Joe at 395-4168. Registration forms are available at www.shrimp-petrofest.org.
