Funeral services will be held Monday, November 21, 2011, at 1 p.m., at Ibert’s Mortuary for Warren Blaine Marcotte, 51, a native of Franklin and lifelong resident of Baldwin, who passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011, at 12:01 a.m., at his home. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. The Rev. Bobby Hodnett and Dr. Chris Holloway will officiate the services.
Survivors include one daughter, Raven Marcotte of Franklin; one son, Riley Marcotte of Franklin; his mother, Gloria Lange Marcotte of Baldwin; two sisters, Marla M. Wray and her husband, Percy, of Baton Rouge and Jill M. Simoneaux of Baldwin; two nephews, Stephen Wray of Baton Rouge and Austin Carlin of Baldwin; one niece, Jimi Simoneaux of New Iberia; and one great nephew, Liam Sonnier of New Iberia.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Marcotte, as well as by his grandparents.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday at Ibert’s Mortuary, from 9 a.m. until time of service.
Pallbearers will be Dana Lange, Rene Junca, Troy Bourgeois, Austin Carlin, Craig Burgess and Jeremy Lange. Honorary pallbearers will be Stephen Wray and Brad Clements.
