Fog

A blanket of thick morning fog is usually not a welcoming sight to anyone who has to drive. The heavy wet whiteness that impairs sight causes people to take precautions and delay travels. On the other hand, the dense grayness can also be welcome to some that seek a little uninterrupted quiet time outside alone in prayer or just in thought. Although fog does impair the distance in which people visually see, it can, in turn, allow some just the right amount of time needed to see things more clearly. This photo was taken recently in Lawrence Park in Morgan City.
