West St. Mary High School held its Third Annual Career Expo on Thursday, Nov. 17. More than 20 businesses from throughout the parish attended the event to provide career information to juniors, seniors, Journey to Careers and JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) students. Students had the opportunity to speak with representatives from the different companies and learn about the work they perform, what salaries they could expect, how many job opportunities are available in the parish and what types of education is required for the jobs offered by the various businesses.
