Cell phone flasher held after alleged middle school incident

AMITE – A Greensberg man is charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile after an alleged digital flashing incident at West Side Middle School.

According to Amite police, Jamie Hawthorne, 35, was at the school on unrelated business when he show a female student a picture on his cell phone. The picture, police said, was of his penis.

Chief Jerry Trabona said the suspect told officers that his doctor had asked for the picture. The doctor denied that allegation.
