DERIDDER – A woman working as a teacher/aide at a summer Bible school camp is accused of a number of counts of illegal activity involving a juvenile boy who attended the camp.

Heather Daughdrill, 28, of Westlake is charged with inappropriate contact with the 13-year-old on multiple occasions.

Officials said Daughdrill would engage in inappropriate sexual contact with the boy after picking him up from school without the parents’ knowledge.

Detectives said they discovered several alleged explicit text messages between Daughdrill and the 13-year-old boy.

Daughdrill was arrested Monday and booked into Calcasieu Correctional Center. She is charged with 4 counts of carnal knowledge of a juvenile; 8 counts of sexual battery; 3 counts of 2nd degree kidnapping; 1 count contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile; and 1 count indecent behavior with a juvenile.

After bonding out of Calcasieu, she was booked into the Beauregard jail on charges of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile; and 3 counts of 2nd degree kidnapping in Beauregard Parish with the same 13-year-old boy.

America's justice system says you are INNOCENT until PROVEN guilty. This has not happened with this woman. Don't believe anything you read or hear, and only HALF of what you actually SEE! If more people followed this reasoning, we would have a lot less malicious news stories that only hurt the innocent and their families!!!!!
