Hazel Landry Moxley, 82, a native of Belle River and resident of Stephensville, joined her loved ones in heaven on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011.

Hazel enjoyed sewing, cooking, playing bingo, tending to her flowers, attending church when able and spending time with her family.

Hazel is survived by three daughters, Patricia “Pat” Ribardi of Stephensville, Elizabeth “Liz” Davis and her husband Benjamin “Ben” of Stephensville, and Rebecca “Becky” Glynn and her husband Bobby Sr. of Stephensville; one son, Henry A. Moxley and his wife Virginia of Patterson; her daughter-in-law, Juanita R. Moxley of Labadieville; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Owen W. Moxley Sr.; her son, Owen W. Moxley Jr.; her father, Nedas Landry; her mother, Felicia Landry; one brother, Roland Landry; one sister, Alice Landry; and her grandson, Benjamin “Benji” Davis.

The family requests that visitation be observed today, Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City. Visitation will resume Wednesday, Dec. 7, from 8 a.m. until service time at Hargrave Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Graveside services will follow at the Morgan City Cemetery.
