Midland secured a 19-11 first quarter lead before posting a 31-22 advantage at the half. Centerville went on a 15-12 surge in the third quarter to trim the deficit to six points at 43-37.
Rodrick Taylor poured in a game-high 28 points to lead the Bulldogs. Taylor made good on 11 deuces, two treys and 1 of 2 free throws. Jumanji Washington tossed in 17 points, hitting four deuces, a pair of treys, and 3 of 5 charity shots. Rounding out the scoring for the Bulldogs were: Laroy Gant, 4; Quinton Nettles, 2; Dylan Burgess, 2 and Zacchaeus Jackson, 2.
Centerville (5-7) will travel to Hope Academy on Friday.
