St. Mary/Vermillion Community Action Agency held its annual Adopt-A-Family program on Wednesday. With the donations received from local sponsors, CAA was able to adopt 61 children and 31 families to whom they presented with food and Christmas gifts. They also presented 20 fruit baskets to senior citizens. Above, Izola Cooper reads a poem during the program.
