Drug warrants topped the list of arrests during the last 24-hour period in St. Mary Parish.

Buddy Burns Jr., 52, of La. 182 in Morgan City was arrested Tuesday at 3:08 p.m. on warrants for distribution of cocaine and possession of a legend drug.

Agents of the St. Mary Parish Multi-jurisdictional Narcotics Task Force located Burns at his residence, placed him under arrest and booked him into the parish jail where he remained this morning with no bond set.

Timothy P. Francis, 24, on Apple Street in Morgan City was arrested Tuesday at 4:04 p.m. on warrants for possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Francis was located at his residence, arrested and booked into the parish jail where he remained this morning with no bond set.

Chet Williams, 44, of Red Cypress Road in Patterson was arrested Tuesday at 10:41 a.m. on warrants for criminal trespass, criminal damage of a pipeline facility and theft of oil and gas equipment.

Williams turned himself in to the sheriff‘s office after learning of the warrants for his arrest, the sheriff said.

He was booked into the parish jail where he remained this morning with no bond set.
