St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the past 24-hour reporting period:

Gordon Vinning, 41, of Jacksonville, Florida, was arrested Monday at 9:45 a.m. on a charge of issuing worthless checks. He was released on a summons.

Christian Garrett, 24, of 133 Vista Village Lane, Bayou Vista, was arrested Monday at 12:38 p.m. on a warrant charging him with sexual battery of the infirm. No bond was set.

Kevin J. Gant, 24, of 1709 Fern St., Patterson, was arrested Monday at 1:31 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of second-offense possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, disturbing the peace and resisting an officer. No bond was set.

Jonathan Beadle, 21, of 125 Southwest Road, Bayou Vista, and Orry Kiffe, 23, of 415 Leo Drive, Patterson, were arrested Monday at 12:12 p.m. Beadle was charged with two counts of simple battery and released on a $1,000 bond. Kiffe was charged with disturbing the peace by fighting and on a Lafayette Parish warrant with child support violation. No bond was set.

Ronald Hill, 46, of Anniston, Alabama, was arrested today at 1:29 p.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace. He was held on a $250 bond.

Multi-jurisdictional Drug Task Force members reported the arrest of Ezekiel Anderson IV, 19, of 1036 Irish Bend Road, Franklin, Monday at 6:48 p.m. on warrants charging him with manufacture of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and keeping a disorderly place. He was additionally charged with another count of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia at the time of arrest. No bond was set.

Christopher Hawkins, 44, of 121 Navarro St., Charenton, was arrested Monday at 8:25 p.m. on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.

Tajuan Gibson, 27, of La. 83, Ashton, was arrested Monday at 9:10 p.m. on warrants charging him with second-offense possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and keeping a disorderly place. He was released on a $2,500 bond.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Anson Thomas Paul, 34, of Liner Street, Franklin, Monday at 10:13 a.m. on charges of disturbing the peace, resisting by giving false information and aggravated assault. He was held on a $2,250 bond.

Albert Murphy, 56, of Liner Street, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 10:20 a.m. on charges of disturbing the peace and aggravated assault. He was held on a $1,250 bond.
