On Sunday, Dec. 18, Renee Camp White, 55, a native of Vivian and a resident of Bayou Vista, passed away at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma.

Renee was born on Nov. 13, 1956, the daughter of J.D. and Carolyn Pitman Camp.

Survivors include her father, J.D. Camp of Patterson; her husband and best friend of 36 years, William White of Bayou Vista; her son, Eddy White and his wife Darla of Bayou Vista; her grandson, Gabriel White of Bayou Vista; brother, Danny Camp of Patterson; sister, Lisa and her husband Doug Phillips of Patterson, along with their children, Corey and Cray. Renee also will be fondly remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Camp.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011, at Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan City with a memorial service being held at 7 p.m.
