Francesca “Fran” Davis Garman passed away Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011, returning home to Christ. Francesca was born in New Orleans on March 6, 1950.

She was preceded in death by her son, Athen A. Garman of Morgan City; her father, Strother G. Davis Jr.; and brother, Strother G. Davis III, both of New Orleans.

She leaves behind a husband, Walter B. Garman; two daughters, Karen Morrison and Cherie Garman (Kevin) Lucien; two sons, Robert Morrison and Derrick Morrison; four grandchildren, Briana Lewis, Marquis Garman, Brennan Garman and Da’Najah Morrison; her mother, Marguerite C. Davis; three brothers; two sisters; and a host of other relatives.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Miracle Revival Center, 1200 Saturn Rd., Bayou Vista, and the funeral service at 1 p.m.

Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery. Repast follows at Hargrave Funeral Home, 1031 Victor II Blvd., Morgan City. Forward donations and floral gifts to Miracle Revival Center.
