St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the past 24-hour reporting period:

David Angeron, 21, of 295 Ricohoc Road, Ricohoc, was arrested Tuesday at 12:53 p.m. on charges of simple criminal damage to property and aggravated assault. He was held on a $2,000 bond.

Lucien P. Theriot, 22, of Bayou L’Ourse, was arrested Wednesday at 12:19 p.m. on charges of failure to signal, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.

A juvenile male, age 14, was arrested Wednesday at 3:46 p.m. on charges of two counts of illegal possession of stolen things, illegal possession of tobacco products and second-offense possession of marijuana. He was released to guardians pending juvenile court.

Bruce Matherene, 45, of Lockport, was arrested Wednesday at 11:43 p.m. on a charge of hit and run. He was released on a summons.

Chris Bergeron, 34, of Houma, was arrested today at 12:16 p.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace intoxicated. He was released on a $250 bond.

Christopher Hawkins, 34, of 121 Navarro St., Charenton, was arrested today at 12:43 a.m. on charges of aggravated second-degree battery and a failure to appear warrant on charges of battery on an officer, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting an officer. Deputies were called to Franklin Foundation Hospital regarding a stabbing victim, resulting in Hawkins’ arrest. No bond was set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Earl Joseph Otis, 48, of Talbot Street, Franklin, Wednesday at 1:51 p.m. on charges of disturbing the peace intoxicated and remaining where forbidden. He was held on a $750 bond.

Ronald P. Hawkins, 54, of Hawkins Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 8:41 p.m. on a warrant charging him with probation violation. No bond was set.

Chasette Evette Jones Chapman, 37, of Isabella Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. on a charge of driving under suspension. She was released on a $1,000 bond.
