Franklin Police were called out at 2:33 a.m. Monday to the railroad crossing at Willow Street and Anderson Street.
Police say Deshawn Granger, 21, of Franklin was hit by the train when crossing the closed guard on his bicycle.
He was transported the Franklin Foundation Hospital and is listed in stable contion.
No other details were available this morning.
