City seeks nonprofits to work with on projects

The City of Franklin wants to collaborate with nonprofit organizations on projects to benefit the community.

“Working together with Franklin’s community organizations will help city government to form partnerships within the community,” Mayor Raymond Harris said. “Two heads are always better than one. Through these partnerships, the city of Franklin and community organizations will come up with new and innovative initiatives to help the citizens of Franklin.”

Interested organization representataives may contact Arlana Shields at ashields@franklin-la.com with the organization’s name, contact information, mission and types of projects, programs and philanthropies the organization has worked with in the past. Forms are also available on the second floor of City Hall on Iberia Street if preferred.
