The Tri-City area has finally welcomed its first baby of 2012 with the birth Wednesday of Zalen Ian Junifer. His arrival at 12:13 p.m., weighing 6 pounds, 9 ounces and measuring 18.5 inches long, was to parents Jasmine Junifer of Morgan City and Kevin Roberson of Franklin. He was also greeted by big brothers Zha’Kel Roberson, 4, and Kevin Roberson Jr., 2. The newborn is also the winner of The Daily Review’s First Baby of 2012 Contest.
